Billy and Vanessa will be simply hugging in the widow of his One Love gallery and Donna will live paint their union. Eventually, the painting will hang in the gallery and be sold as a limited print and t-shirt to spread their message. Their hug is a reminder to the world no matter our differences we have the unbreakable bond of humanity to unite us all. They will hug as long as they can. Whether their embrace lasts minutes or hours, the truth is indisputable. We all are family under the roof of humanity.

My art is focused on the human condition, such as courage or hope, love, unity, relationships. It’s an expression of whatever I might happen to be dealing with in my life. After I create a piece, I look into it for some time, and then I see something that I might never have seen before. It’s more of a discovery process, and it’s really thrilling to me.
